چکیده
This paper studies the properties of metallurgical briquettes iron ore concentrate with coke screenings and liquid glass as a binder. The are produced by one-sided pressing in closed die mounted on plates vertical press force 100 kN. were carried out laboratory Spidermash LLC. following determined: density, impact strength compressive (for green dry briquettes). functional dependences mechanical 4 parameters plotted, namely charge mixture composition (the content coke), binder (liquid glass) percentage mixture, moisture compacting pressure. obtained experimental data approximated use multiplicative model, application least squares method. Various analytical models for describing behavior material to be briquetted studied. It is concluded that model provides more adequate description properties. quality multiple regression assessed adjusted coefficient determination. significance equation evaluated Fisher criterion, coefficients according Student. from screenings, presented form dependencies, necessary assess when designing briquetting process. For example, it take into account change yield during briquette transportation after briquetting. These also formulating solving problems pressing/briquetting finely dispersed materials, including screenings.

Mechanical Properties of Low Plasticity Clay Soil Stabilized with Iron Ore Mine Tailing and Portland Cement
Due to economical and environmental issues, utilization of mineral wastes, e.g. iron ore mine tailing (IOMT), as road materials can be recommended as a sustainable alternative. In the present study, mechanical properties, as well as resistance to freezing and thawing cycles (F-T) of low plasticity clay soil stabilized with different percentages of Portland cement (0, 6, 9, 12 and 15%) and diffe...
متن کاملThe Effect of Binder Type on the Properties of Briquette and Pellet Produced from the Magnetite Concentrate of Gol-E-Gohar Iron-Ore
Binders are of prime importance in the agglomeration of iron ore concentrates. In this research, strength and density of briquette produced from the magnetite concentrate of Gol-E-Gohar were investigated using different binders at various applied pressures. The results showed that peridor was the most effective binder relative to bentonite and lime. For all types of binders, the increase in bin...
